I hope you are keeping well. Further to your valuable help in booking our recent holiday at the Quinta do Perestrello. I am very pleased to confirm that my wife and I had a fantastic holiday in Madeira and really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. As you are probably aware this was not our first stay at the Perestrello and like our previous visit in 2006, the hotel once again lived up to its reputation as a perfect luxury and relaxing base for exploring Funchal and Madeira. Our room was perfect and of a high standard plus the daily maid service excellent whilst in the restaurant we were pleased to meet up once again with Sergio (waiter) who looked after us with style and charm. As for the food, well all I can say is that it was excellent and absolutely faultless and I can understand why the restaurant is Michelin accredited. Please give our sincere compliments to the Chef and catering team. I was also stunned and pleased that on our 25th Wedding Anniversary, the hotel laid on a complimentary bottle of champagne which was a really touching gesture we appreciated. I have already completed the questionnaire before leaving the hotel but felt a personal email to you and everyone associated with the hotel was appropriate to confirm just how much we appreciated the very high standard of accommodation, cuisine and service throughout our stay. Please convey our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Perestrello for making our anniversary celebration in Madeira extra special.

Dear Sirs, What can we say? Only good things. Your staff showed they were very very professional and friendly, always at the ready and always had a tolerant attitude towards one and all. The room was very nice - clean, tidy and had a lovely woody smell. Breakfast was delicious - with special compliments for the fruit salad, the bacon and eggs, the diversity of breads, savoury and sweet, and the teas. Ah! and we will not forget the generosity of free internet. Great! Now all that's missing is a wireless connection ; ) This time we did not get to try the pool but next time we will not miss it. We cannot praise the staff enough for all they did for us and for their friendliness and the maid service was superb leaving our room fresh and clean every day - all of this added to make a special holiday for us. Thanks also must be given to Marilyn in Reservations for making the booking so easy and for helping us locate the same room we had previously - I was under the impression I was dealing directly with the Quinta Perestrello when e-mailing, but Fatima told me when I asked to thank her that she worked from the main reservations office!
